Around Us

Blue Silo Studio’s got its name from the two large silos (formerly sky blue) now gray with canary yellow details. Sitting just fifty yards on the west and across a few train tracks used primarily to haul scrap metal back-and-forth. Our old red-brick building sits on the border of Denver’s Elyria and Swansea neighborhood right in the center of the most industrial and gritty part.

More recently Blue Silo has officially been parceled as part of the RiNo Arts District and has participated in the RiNo studio tours on an annual basis. Here we want to give you a peek into who we are, what we do, and how we do it. The studios are the life of the artists that reside here. Their dedication to this building and their studios have a genuine individuality to each studio space. Exhibiting the different personalities of each artist and more importantly, this building has become a kind of second home.
